    Question Supermarket Recommendation?

Does anyone have a good supermarket recommendation not far from Disney property? We'll be at the Beach Club. We used to go to Goodings, but have found it lacking the past few trips. Particularly, we are looking to buy Lactose-Free Milk (e.g., Lactaid) to keep in our room fridge for breakfast.
    Thank you!

Since we joined DVC and now have a kitchen we use Publix. Go out World drive to 192, and head west, about 1 1/2- 2 miles on the right. A HUGE supermarket.

Publix right off property is the best. Wal-Mart and Target aren't as good, but are also available.

    Guess I need to

The Publix on 192 is easy to get to and has a wide variety. I am not sure specifically about the Lactaid brand but all the Publix I shop in (my town has 5 !) do carry Lactose free Milk.

I'd select Publix as well. Over time, we've also tried Wal Mart and Winn Dixie but like Publix the best.

Does publix let you fax in your order ahead of time? We did this one year but I can't remember what super market it was. Thanks!

I seem to recall hearing that about Gooding's. We find it doesn't take us very long to walk the aisles and pick up what we need. I just have a list that we've created ahead of time and stick mostly to that.

my wife says it was albertsons, that let us do that. But I think happy limo will only take you to publix. If they don't take faxes,we'll just write up a list and do it that way! Thanks!!

I am glad to see all the replys to this question because we will need to go to a store when we come down in October.

    I have a quick question.
    Does Publix sell Mt Dew?
    Also are their prices good?
We will need to buy Diapers and stuff, and of course Mt.Dew.

    Yep, they sell Mt. Dew.

Some items might be priced higher than @ Wal Mart but overall I just prefer Publix.
