    Default Columbia Harbour House

We've walked by this restaurant a lot, but have never tried it. I just got done looking at an online menu and grilled salmon was available for $10. Is this really true? Has anyone had this? Was it any good?
Also, can we use our quick service dining plan at the Liberty Square Market? The corn on the cob there is really good. They also have pickles, fresh fruit, and cold drinks. It's one of our favorite places to stop after doing the Haunted Mansion a couple of times and heading to the Hall of Presidents.

Love LOVE harbor house! It's a must lunch for us every trip! Never had the grilled salmon, but the $10.00 sounds about right give or take a couple bucks. It's a counter service so the food is pretty reasonably priced. Their clam chowder, is by far the BEST I have ever had, no being a new englander-that's a thought challenge for most restaurants to win for me lol. I always get the chicken nugget basket with fries and a bowl of chowder! The best!

Thanks to an Intercot podcast, we finally tried CHH and it is now a "must eat" for us! DD LOVES the salmon! It is very good for $10.99(according to my dining app) but thanks to this thread, I'm looking forward to trying the clam chowder too!

    Happy Dining!

The three top tips for CHH are as follows.

    1. Go up the stairs to the 2nd level. Strollers can't go up stairs.

We were at CHH last week and although we did not try the salmon, we did have the lobster roll which was very good. We had a mixture off the menu and although I do not recall what everyone had, I know everything got eaten and was enjoyed.

One of our favorite QS meals!! The tuna sandwich is fabulous!
And DH likes their clam chowder.

It is nice to sit upstairs by a window and watch folks go back & forth from Liberty Square & Fantasyland.

Definitely 3 solid tips. In addition to the upstairs, I like this place because its a nice change of the usual hamburger CS menu. I love the decor.

We love CHH. Husband really likes the salmon, it's a nice portion also. It comes with couscous and broccoli if I remember right. We also like the tuna sandwich and clam chowder.

DW says the Grilled Salmon (which does come with couscous and broccoli) was her favorite meal in the parks this last trip. I am still partial to the fish & chips, but the tuna sandwich is also fantastic. CHH is our favorite QS, by a lot. And mostly because so many people just walk right past it...the upstairs is never crowded...in fact, there have been days where we were the only people upstairs. A great break from the crowded parks!

Love it! We haven't really tried any other counter service at MK in 20+years of going. We tend to eat at non- counter service or out of the parks.

One tip, if there is a special event it tends to close earlier (like the Halloween or Christmas parties. I am been disappointed a few times thinking at 5 or after we could eat there.

Obsessed with Columbia harbor house!!! I don't eat a lot of fried food BUT the fish and chips are an exception: they are fabulous!!! Not greasy and cooked exactly right. A must try!!!!! We love sitting upstairs too as another poster pointed out: great views up there! Enjoy

It's our favorite CS place in the MK. It's just nice that the menu is so *different* than every other place. However, they removed my favorite menu item...they used to have a sandwich with ham and broccoli slaw that was just awesome.

Yes, upstairs is the best. Always quiet, never crowded, Excellent themeing.

And, quite frankly, the BEST (cleanest, least busy) restrooms in all of WDW.

...the grilled salmon is my "go to" meal each time we eat at CHH. It's never been anything less than fabulous...as is the kitchen staff there. It comes with broccoli & couscous...but...I try to stay to my low-carb diet...and they were more than happy to give me a double helping of broccoli and hold the couscous.

....speaking of the staff at CHH: My wife ordered a lobster roll ....and when she tasted it, she was less than thrilled (she' really not a mayo type person). One of the staff that was cleaning tables saw that my wife wasn't too thrilled (must have been the "too much mayo look" she had), came over and asked if everything was okay / is food okay / etc. When wife said she really didn't care for the taste of it...the worker brought one of the food staff over ....asked her what she WOULD like, and brought her a replacement (as I recall I think she got the Fish & Shrimp combo). For a table service restaurant...THAT is great service.

....my (vegetarian) daughter also likes the vegetarian chili and the Lighthouse Sandwich.

This place is really good, though I haven't been there much. Definitely need to head over there since we'll be at MK 3 days. And I think I'll bring my kids (toddler included) upstairs. Sounds like a nice quiet place to eat.

This is my favorite and lasting memory of this place. Still, I also remember a set of dry, soggy fish sticks...and really slow service. Hopefully they were having an off day, but i'd say that was probably going to be my only visit.
