Princess Afternoon Tea

Hello Everyone!

I'm making lots of reserations for our upcoming Disney trip - I saw there is a Princess Tea party. My daughter is 3 and loves to have tea parties. owever I saw that this is VERY expensive. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about this vs. the regular Afternoon Tea?

We have never done the Princess Tea, just due to the cost, but we've heard pretty good things about it.

The regular afternoon tea, although they "allow" children, doesn't seem like it is really set-up for kids. It is a fairly grown-up atmosphere.

I have never done the princess tea because I can't justify the price even with the doll.

I did take my 4 year old daughter to tea in April for her birthday. While we were there, there were no other children at tea. However, my daughter had a great time and I would take her again is she wanted to go. The children's tea is chocolate milk and PB&J or ham & cheese. They bring it out in a mini ceramic teapot and she will get a real teacup. I think the highlight for my daughter was the sugar cubes.

I agree with Heather. It is an adult atmosphere. The space is very small and the table are close together. If your daughter is normally well behaved at meals (or tea ), I think you will be okay. If she is loud, like to get up, etc, you may want to hold off.

My daughter and I did the Princess tea and had a great time.

I agree it's expensive so it was a one time thing.

In my opinion 3 yrs old is probably a little too young for both. We did the afternoon tea and enjoyed it very much. We had children ranging from 5-11 and they also enjoyed it. My husband took my 3 year old to the playground and I was very glad we made that decision. I know she would have broken something. I will do the princess tea party when my daughter is 5 or 6. I've heard the activities are geared for children a little older.

I have reservations to take my 12 yr god daughter to this event. Is that still a good age? And it shows it is 2:00 - 5:00 but do you have to stay for the whole 3 hours?

We love the afternoon tea. As long as your daughter is well behaved I think it would be great. I have seen young children there enjoying themselves.
