BWV and Refillable Mugs

I haven't stayed at BW since 2002. We booked there for the Princess Half Marathon in Feb. Where would you refill your mug at? Is there even a place for it, since there is no QS location here. I'm used to staying at AKL I feel like a newbie!

There are two areas. The upstairs there is a bar/lounge area I forget the name where you can get it refilled or you can walk to the Boardwalk Bakery, which if you walk out of the entrance on the Boardwalk side and go to your right facing the water it's right there.

Are any of these or the lounge self-service? I am particular about my ice to liquid ratio when it comes to my mugs (I'm weird, I know), and I like filling it up myself. I know this is a STRANGE question

Nope, you have to go to one of those locations. And sometimes it can be a bit of a wait. I waited over 20 minutes to get coffee at the bakery when we stayed there. I really wish they would add on a QS area there.

Surprisingly, they won't even refill your mug. It is not self service so when you go there you show them your mugs and they give you the disposable cups filled with coffee. Some sort of health issue restraint by the health department. So you could bring them back to your resort or ask for a cup of ice and then mix it yourself, I've never tried that though.

The only issue with the pizza window and shoreside is they open later than the lounge and bakery so the bakery and lounge is the one we go to because they are the ones open for when I need my coffee fix

We just got home from the Boardwalk, and the people in the bakery told us that they will be adding "self-serve" drink fountains very soon, so you might get lucky for your trip, Morgan!

Also, you can have your mugs refilled at the Leaping Horse Libations (at the pool) when they are open.

The Belle Vue Lounge (just off the lobby) will serve a continental breakfast daily and refill your mug.
