Usually only one of the two water parks is closed for rehab at a time. so in most cases at least one of the Disney water parks is open every day of the year. The water in the pools is heated, but the air can get quite chilly in Dec. through Feb.

Exactly! There is one water park open each day of the year, except when it gets crazy cold, and then a closure may be announced day-by-day.
But, the intention is to have a waterpark open each day, with the rehabs happening in the winter, so you can know ahead of time which park will be open when.
