    Default Towel Animals

Hello! Our friends just returned from WDW All Star Movies Resort with a few towel animals. They said that their mousekeeper told them to take them home as they just get thrown out afterwards. We would never think to take the towel animals home! So my question is, what do all of you think?!!!!

We love seeing the towel animals in POP or POR when we go! We never have room in our suitcases to take them home sadly, but I totally wish I could make them!

I've read many times on this site and others - if it has glue - Take it.

Looking forward to seeing what we have at POFQ.

Do the towel animals have glue? I've never noticed but I thought they were just folded a certain way and they just stayed that way, no glue. Also, what do you mean if it has glue, take it? Sorry, that's just a saying I've never heard

Our kids were told to take the adorable towel animals home. They wisely chose only the small ones.

Some need to be held together with hot glue.

And some have eyes and such glued on.

We took a couple in the past when my son was little, but that was years ago. Now I just enjoy them while I'm at the resort.

Wow,I'm really surprised that taking them home was okay! We don't have kids, so we wouldn't take them, but it's interesting to know that you can....

A picture works for us, so we've never taken any home.

We took home the doll our mousekeeper made for our room when we stayed at CBR in 2010. She had eyes and stickers, which my then 14 month old promptly took off. She loved it so we brought it home.

We got one towel animal on our stay, a dog that had stickers for eyes & held in place with a rubber band. We brought it home because I'd read here that it was okay to do so. It sat on a shelf in DD's room for a while until she took it down & deconstructed it. It was just one washcloth, so now she uses it at bathtime. It is a good quality washcloth & makes me smile while I'm folding it in the laundry. If we went back & had towel animals, I'd probably just take pictures & do a scrapbook page of them.

My children each took one one year, but on subsequent visits, we've only taken photographs.
