    Default Sell me on Nick

My wife and I are considering going down to the Orlando a day early and staying at the Nickelodeon Hotel.

My children are a 7 year old boy....who is absolutely infatuated with SpongeBob and a 2 year old who likes Dora.

Thinking about getting there around 9, hitting the pools, seeing the shows. The next morning hitting the character breakfast and then heading over to DW to start the vacation.

The Nick is about $250 - that includes the $25 hotel fee. I just can't pull the trigger on it. I know my son will love the slides, the pool but what else is there to do around there. Is it really worth that much money? TIA

I wish I could sell you it. I guess my bigger compliment for nick hotel would be that it's very close to Disney!

Does this mean that the hotel itself is not very nice or does it mean that you have never stayed there?

We spent an arrival night there before a wdw trip one year. It didn't impress us a bit.
It seemed like a regular hotel with a lot of posters more than a themed resort that I thought it'd be. Just my opinion

What about the outside area with the pools and fountains, that is what I always have heard about. Does that make it worth a stay or is that over rated also?

I have not stayed there, but I have passed it...it looks like a old Holiday Inn that was refurbished.

$250 a night??? That's a little steep from the looks of the outside of the resort. Just my opinion.

I have heard that the pools are great.
