Just looking through threads I had started, and I realized I have a new one to add to this.

You know you're addicted to WDW when a hurricane is on track for Florida, and this makes your wife want to plan an impromptu trip to WDW FOR THE HURRICANE.

We went during Irma, and actually had a great time. The parks were empty leading up to, and after, the hurricane. The resort was a lot of fun, and we made great memories.

    I said no.

@azcavalier Way to bring back this long lost gem!

Does buying your third set of DVC points make you addicted? I'm sure by DVC standards our number is low, but I doubt it will be our last time back to the well.

When I smell Bromine in water, I am immediately teleported into "It's a Small World", "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Splash Mountain" at least in my mind.

This made me wonder if you can have swimming pools with Bromine.

When we are at a restaurant or well, any place where customer service is needed and we get great service, someone will reply "well that's what i call disney service" if we have bad service someone will reply "we're not in disney any longer".

Yes, you could use Bromine in a swimming pool, according to what little I know. But it is much more expensive than Chlorine based products, and generally only sold in commercial/industrial applications.
But it would be so cool to have that water smell in your backyard!

Baquacil (biguanide) smells quite similar. That's what I use in my pool.

Also explains when we went on holiday this past June, I was sitting in the hot tub in the sun thinking "feels like I'm on Splash". The hot tubs use bromine.

Ok then. We'll just have a grill some burgers around PopPhan's pool and pretend we're at Pecos Bill's smelling Splash Mountain.

The problem with heated pools is that you have to get out of them some time.
I'm pretty sure I might die in 40 degree weather :P

Just a couple of weeks ago, I had a cardiac procedure done at the hospital. I was very nervous about how things were going to play out. As I entered the lobby to check in, that "Disney Water" smell hit me full in the face. The fountain in the lobby had bromine as a sanitizer. Stopped dead in my tracks & breathed deeply for a few breaths, taking it as a sign that everything would work out & be OK. It did, and is! I kinda like being addicted to Disney!
