Planning our holiday trip with father in wheelchair and mother possibly in ECV. I'm trying to decide whether we should get the dinner package, in order to get priority seating, or will having the wheelchair, etc provide priority seating?
I agree with the previous poster...when we took my father (in a wheelchair) we had the dining package...you will still have to stand in the reserved line...and there were many wheelchairs and EVC in the stand-by line (those without the dining packages are lined to the right of the stage going towards Itlay and those with packages are standing in lines to the left of the stage going towards Japan (actually the line was so long for our show that we were in front of Japan waiting)...once we were in the theater we were told that one person could accompany my father to the disabled section and the other four had to sit elsewhere in the reserved section (which was no problem as they were all adults)...we had seats in the main section, main aisle...ten rows from the stage...wonderful handicap seats...I wouldn't try to go to the Candlelight Procession without the dining package (yep, I know it's now 2 table service credits)...I think I would pay out of pocket rather than 2 TS as it's the same meal without the package (of course, now you get reserved standing room for the fireworks)...
I wouldn't miss the CP...it's wonderful.
