Default Garden Grocer if you are not in room

    Hi,
Less than a month, so excited!! Does anyone know if you have Garden Grocer deliver, and you are not in your room, if the front desk will hold it for you?
    Thanks!

Yes, GG will give your delivery to bell services to hold. When you place your order, I believe there's a spot for special instructions. You can also enter a time window for when you'd like the food delivered. We do this every time we go, and we've always found our order at bell services without issues.

When we checked into our resort the last time, we were told our order was already there. It's a great service.

Do they keep milk, juice, etc. cold for you if you are not able to meet them back at the hotel? We were able to meet them last time, but I'm not sure we will this time.

I read earlier this week that they do keep what needs to be cold for you in a fridge. Not sure how accurate this info is though.

Don't worry about your food. Things that are needing refrigerating will be kept cold until you are ready for them to be delivered.
    Can I go "home" yet?

I called them the other day just to confirm our order and delivery time. I did ask them what would happen if our flight was delayed and we were not there when they delivered. I was told that the resort staff would take it and the cold items (yogurt and veggies) would be refrigerated and our order would most likely be delivered to our room with our luggage (we are using magical express for transportation from the airport). So nothing at all to worry about.

Disney is very very experienced with grocery deliveries. If you ever have some free time hanging around, you'll notice that every Bell Services area (when visible) has a refrigerator/freezer ... a big one (or 2), not a little dorm-sized fridge like in the rooms.

Grocery delivery services like Gooding's and Garden Grocer separately bag and label refrigerated items. In other words, it's not like they leave it up to the Disney staff to hunt through the bags and decide what must be refrigerated.

Like I said, they're quite experienced with it and they do a more than adequate job.

You are absolutely right CleveRocks....they were really nice when I talked to them....assuring me that this is done all the time and everything would be well taken care of. Really set my mind at ease so one less thing to worry about.
