Grand Floridian or Polynesian ???

I have stayed in both but would say that for the kids Poly might edge out GF though I'm sure the girls would love 1900 Park Fare. If it is a December trip I may say GF because of the decorations. Both resorts are very special, Poly does have a more laid back feel and Ohana breakfast is a lot of fun!!!!!

We have not stayed at either but we have eaten at both and whenever we (me and an 11 year old boy and almost 6 year old girl) talk about it they always say they wish we could stay at GF...Poly is never one of the ones the request (and we have eaten at all the Disney hotels).

We loved the location for Epcot and Hollywood a short boat ride away. Lot's of Restaurant choices in the area. Yacht Club was nice not WOW factor.
Liked the decor and colors around Beach Club with same offerings. Beaches & Cream, Epcot Fireworks every night were great. Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast was really good, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and I think others but not sure ! Felt with my girls young ages we needed to be closer to Magic Kingdom...only bus transportation to there and it was a bit far. Last trip was in Dec 2008 and it was very cool...only used the pool one day that hit 72 !! So the Stormalong Bay was not such a good reason for us to stay there....but it is the best for Epcot and HS and Boardwalk locations.

Thanks for your imput. That was the reason we stayed at GF with my Granddaughters. Monorail ride to MK. Since this trip is all adult we want to be close to Epcot. We can always walk through Epcot and get the monirail to the Transportion center and get to MK that way.
