    Mar. 21, 1685 – Composer Johann Sebastian Bach was born in Eisenach, Germany. His work “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor” would be used in Disney’s 1940 “Fantasia.”
    Mar. 21, 1921 – Fletcher Mark, the director of Disney’s 1963 “The Incredible Journey” was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Also an actor, screenwriter, and television producer, Mark would interview Walt Disney himself for a 1963 TV spot.
    Mar. 21, 1927 – Disney’s Alice Comedy “Alice in the Alps” was released.
    Mar. 21, 1936 – “Mika Mis,” the first official Disney magazine to be published in Serbia, made its debut. It was launched by Aleksandar J. Ivkovic.
    Mar. 21, 1947 – Disney’s Pluto cartoon “Rescue Dog” was released.
    Mar. 21, 1952 – Disney’s Chip and Dale cartoon “Two Chips and a Miss” was released.
    Mar. 21, 1956 – The Disney TV show aired “The Goofy Sports Story.”
    Mar. 21, 1956 – Walt Disney Productions was awarded an Oscar for “Men Against the Artic” (Documentary/Short Subjects) at the 1955 Academy Awards.
    Mar. 21, 1958 – Actor and filmmaker Gary Oldman was born in London, England. Frequently cast as eccentric villains and morally corrupt characters, he portrayed Jacob Marley, Bob Cratchit, and Tiny Tim in Disney’s 2009 “A Christmas Carol.”
    Mar. 21, 1962 – Actor Matthew Broderick, the voice of the adult Simba in Disney’s “The Lion King” was born in N.Y.C.
