    Default Carousel or Portofino?

I was planning to make reservations at Carousel Inn for the last week of April.

Pros: Family suite, close enough to walk, free breakfast, two nights free.

But lately I've seen several bad reviews.

Would the Portofino be a better choice? It's a farther walk and doesn't have free breakfast, but, seems like a contender as well.

    Thanks for any tips!

    to INTERCOT!

I have family that has stayed at the Portofino ... it's nice and comfy. If you're walking it's can be a hike after a busy day at the park.

I haven't stayed at the Carousel, but I have sent several clients there and heard back it was a nice, basic hotel, but the rooms are really spacious.

(I change the title of the post for you!)

Stayed at the carousel a couple of years ago and thought it was great. In fact am going back the middle of March with my 2 daughters for 5 nights there. Loved the short walk to get to the parks.

We stayed at the Carousel in '05 and we liked it alot. (2 adults) There is a shuttle for those tired feet at the end of the day.
