A turkey. The production team decided that three was a crowd so they removed (wait for it) the raccoon. Fortunately, they saw the error in this and brought back the raccoon (Meeko) and got rid of the turkey.

Correct.
Close, but not quite. It's not "Tom Fink", but what I'm looking for is the name of the individual boats.
Incorrect. There *was* a PeopleMover planned for Future World, but was never installed. The "pylons" (foundations for the track) were put into both the CommuniCore East and West breezeways.
11. Who framed Rodger Rabbit?
Nope. The Black Hole, from 1980.

You and Zawadi both got this one

Horizons was sponsored by GE, the same company that sponsored Carousel of Progress. Makes sense, since Horizons was the "sequel" to CoP. Oh, and don't forget that Space Mountain also had FedEx for a while.

1) Since Disney owns it: what does "ESPN" stand for?
Zawadi got this one: Entertainment and Sports Programming Network.
2) OK, if you've been around Intercot long enough - what TV shows have I appeared on in the past?
I have appeared on Travel Channel's "Secrets of Walt Disney World" (three families/groups of people stay at WDW, with three totally different itineraries), Extreme Makeover Home Edition (a few editions), and a History Channel show.
3) What two major sports teams has Disney owned (relatively recently)?
Squad51 got this one, with the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL, and the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball.
4) In Pocahontas, a third sidekick for the Indian princess was in the original screenplay and concept. Who/what was it?
Badkitty got this one, with the turkey.
5) When Walt Disney World first opened, there were two riverboats on the Rivers of America. What were they named, and which one became the Liberty Belle?
The two riverboats were originally the Richard F. Irvine and the Joe Fowler; the Irvine eventually became the Liberty Belle, after the Fowler sank in Bay Lake during transit to the dry dock for refurbishment.
6) What were the names of the keelboats that also were on the Rivers of America until 2001?
The attraction was called the *Mike* Fink Keelboats, and the individual boats were the Gullywhumper and the Bertha Mae.
7) What two competing competing products were originally featured at quick-service restaurants throughout the Magic Kingdom?
Zawadi got this one:
Pepsi-cola & Coke-cola
The story goes something like...
Pepsi was the original provider but Disney was running short one weekend and Pepsi said that a delivery wouldn't be made until the Monday so Disney contacted the Coke Cola Co. They arranged next day delivery and Coke replaced Pepsi.
(I'm grateful for this as I prefer Coke, even Beverly, to Pepsi)
I don't know if this story is true; I *do* know that Pepsi and Coca-Cola *were* in the park together for quite some time (at least until the mid-1980s). I don't *think* that Coke replaced Pepsi *at that time*, but somewhere along the way, Coke *did* take over the entire "food service - beverage" operation.
8) True or False: A PeopleMover was originally planned for EPCOT, and the foundations for the track still exist.
True. The pylons/pillars are in the breezeways between Innoventions East and West.
9) Name the countries featured in EPCOT's World Showcase, starting with the one closest to Future World West.
Badkitty *attempted* to answer this one, and was close...LOL...Future World West is closest to Canada, followed by United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Japan, United States (American Adventure), Italy, Germany (then African Outpost, although not really a "country"), China, Norway, and Mexico.
10) What fictional town is the setting for Frontierland in Disneyland Paris?
Again, Zawadi Thunder Mesa is correct.
11) What was the first Disney feature-length film to garner a "PG" rating from the MPAA?
The Black Hole, from 1980.
12) What is the current fictional name of Space Mountain, and what does it refer to?
Diz_girl got this one. Space Mountain debuted to guests in January 1975. The name given to the attraction currently is "StarPort Seven-five", a nod to its inaugural year.
13) In my last set of Trivia questions, I told you how tall Expedition: Everest is (199 1/2 feet). Why (is it only 199 1/2 feet)?
Squad51 and Zawadi both got this correct. Any structure over 200 feet must have an aircraft beacon at the top of the structure as required by the FAA.
14) What were the corporate sponsors of the following attractions: Grand Prix Raceway, Horizons, If You Had Wings, Mission: Space, the original version of Spaceship Earth, County Bear Jamboree, Main Street vehicles (Fire Truck, double-decker bus, etc.), World of Motion, Space Mountain (2)
Squad51 got *most* of these:
Grand Prix: Goodyear
Horizons: GE
If You Had Wings: Eastern Airlines
Mission: Space: HP
Country Bear Jamboree: Frito-Lay
Main Street Vehicles: National Car Rental
World of Motion: General Motors
Space Mountain: RCA, FedEx
15) What are the names of Ursula's two evil hench-fish, the eels?
Zawadi got this one: Flotsom and Jetsom
Let's see some more!
