Default What's your favorite counter service place?

It's our first trip to WDW in July and I'm beyond excited! It's only taken me 30 years... hahaha! So, looking to take advantage of the dining plan... what's your favorite place to get a counter service meal? Hit me with 'em!
Taking the hubby and parents for the first time... did I mention the kids won't know 'til we show up?! :)

There are lots to choose from....at MK there's Cosmic Rays in Tomorrowland and Columbia House near the HM and Pecos Bills. At Epcot there's great CS in The Land (can't think of the name). At AK there is Flaming Tree BBQ that is really good. At DHS we usually eat at the ABC Comissary..pretty good. Our very favorite CS meal is Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD. Earl of Sandwish at DTD gets great reviews as well. The line has always been so long there we haven't eaten there. Enjoy!!! You certainly have waited long enough to go and you'll LOVE it!!!!

Our favorite CS is Sunshine Season's at the Land Pavillion in Epcot.

We just really like the wide variety of choices there.

The food courts at most resorts have pretty good food & variety for the CS meals too.

As silly as it may seem, we LOVE Casey's Corner in MK. I'm not sure why, but something about sharing Corn Dog nuggets and fries with the ducks that sneak in on a regular basis while watching Cartoons on bleachers is just so much fun!

I like the counter services that are different than the usual fare.

MK - El Pirata y el Perico (Mexican) and Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station (Asian) - They're only open seasonally but they should be open in July!

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons - Great variety

DHS - CS is not great IMO but there' s just something about saying "I ate at Pizza Planet today."

AK - Yak & Yeti - Great chinese food!

On our last trip we really enjoyed the wraps and platters at the Tangerine Cafe in Morocco in Epcot. Very tasty!

Sunshine Seasons in Epcot is also lots of fun.

MK - Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland (which has pretty much everything), also Casey's Corner on Main Street is really good if you like hot dogs

Epcot - I like the Electric Umbrella because you can go outside and watch the fountain

DHS - I think it's called the Studio Catering Co - its in the back of the park near Lights, Motors, Action, and the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground. It has a really good chicken ceasar wrap.

AK - we tried the Yak & Yeti for the first time last trip and it was pretty good! A very welcome change from other counter service options.

The Fish & Chips in Great Britian is a must for us.
Columbia Harbor House is a hidden jewel. The food is good and most people walk past and the lines there are short and move fast. There is also lots of seating.

My favorites are Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland which is a better experience if Sonny Eclipse is performing

Pecos Bill's in Frontierland is a good bet as well.

Flame Tree BBQ in Animal Kingdom is one of my absolute favorite eating spots in the World. Get a table down by the water and enjoy the food!!

    1) Mine used to be Cosmic Ray's, until they changed the buns.
    2) Now it is Harbor House.
