Default Are there any rides Baby Swap is not allowed?

I was reading on intercot info section the details about height restrictions. I noticed that on the TOT details is says that "Baby swap can be used here" but that statement isn't mentioned on Test Track, Soarin', RRC or Mission: Space. Does this mean Baby swap can not be used on these rides? Are their rides where baby swap can not be used?

As a mother of 3 kids under 7 we have used Child Swap on every attraction in WDW. The only one that is a little weird is Star Tours because you carry the baby to the loading area and then after the first part of your party loads , the ones staying on stay on the ride and you literally swap the baby and the rest of the party rides with the ones staying behind. Our two year old was asleep on our last visit and my older ones really wanted to ride so my DH held him asleep - just as it was time to switch, DS woke up, said he had to pee - and peed on my DH. He got a cool Star Wars t-shirt out of it!

Baby Swap is available on any attraction that has a HEIGHT REQUIREMENT. It's intended purpose is for parents who have kids who are too short to ride. Instead of making them wait through the long line twice since their child can't go they only wait once and the other party goes through the FP line. So don't go to a ride like Snow White or Peter Pan or anything like that expecting a Rider Switch.

    Not entirely accurate.
You can indeed switch for the "Baby Swap" at any ride in WDW. If it's not an "official" baby swap ride, you just have to ask a CM at the attraction.

We have done the switch at Pan; youngest was asleep at the time. CM's were great about it.

I guess it depends on the cast member working if you can do baby swap or not. I had a 5 month old on our last trip and wanted to do a baby swap for Dumbo so hubby and I could both ride with our DD2. The cast member said we couldn't do the swap b/c there was no height restriction and the baby could have ridden it.

    Wink

We had the same experience at Haunted Mansion. My daughter was sleeping and we wanted to ride, and do the baby swap but they would not allow it, saying that since there is no height restriction, there is no baby swap. But with that said, if the right CM is on, and the situation is prime, you can get almost anything you want
