MVMCP - Daytime crowds?

Are the daytime crowds larger on the days that MVMCP is happening at the Magic Kingdom? In other posts people mention that you can enter the Park as early as 4 p.m. for the event.

Not sure if day time crowds really affect the Christmas party, as they do such a good job of running all the non-party goers out. You can enter as early as 4:00. Have a great time

I've been to MK on a MVMCP day and really didn't notice an increase in crowds. We left late afternoon and I am sure that by 4 or 5 it does start to get more crowded because the regular park visitors and MVMCP guest will be overlapping.

We were in the MK this past December for the day, before we went to MVMCP that night.
The park was very quiet that day. The party was a sell out though and that was mobbed!
