Default Tournament of Attractions!: MK Quarter-finals: Country Bear Jamboree VS Splash Mtn.

Note: This is being posted sooner than originally thought as I'll be out of town for part of the weekend and am unsure when the next poll will go up (I'll be home Sunday night so we'll continue then at the latest).

It's a battle of Bears versus Brers!
Good afternoon everyone, on this rainy day in the headquarters of the Tournament of Attractions! in Winnipeg, Canada, it is time to continue with a return to the Magic Kingdom!

    TO RECAP:

    Epcot quarter-finals:
Spaceship Earth rolled over Mission: Space
Soarin' fly high above Ellen's Energy Adventure
    (2 quarter-final matches remain)

    DHS quarter-finals:
Rockin' RollerCoaster drove circles around the Great Movie Ride
Star Tours blasted the Back Lot Tour feat. Catastrophe Canyon
    (2 quarter-final matches remain)

    MK quarter-finals:
The Haunted Mansion creeped out Space Mountain
(2 more quarter-final matches remain, after this poll)

    AK quarter-finals:
Expedition Everest dried up Kali River Rapids
    (3 quarter-final matches remain)

    UP NEXT:
We've taken a trip back to Magic Kingdom where we'll spend some time visiting Frontierland. These two attractions that are pitted up against each other are classics, but they're also almost incomparable. Nevertheless, and as most of you know, it was done completely at random. Some will be blowouts, some will be closer. However it'll be interesting to see whether people cheer more the Bears or the Brers as we look at Country Bear Jamboree versus Splash Mountain!

    WHAT TO DO:

Vote for which attraction you enjoy more.

The next poll will be posted on Sunday night; likely when this poll will be moved to the 2nd page of this forum.

Happy voting, have a great weekend, and a Disney Day!

Splash Mountain here. Well themed and lots of fun. The Bears is a classic but needs a bit of refurbishment.

I had to go with Splash. It is just so fun. Bears is a favorite from my childhood spent at Disneyland, but it does need some refurb.

Yough call but I voted for SM. Although in our next trip with DS2, we'll be seeing the bears much more than Brer Rabbit.

I missed this vote... Glad to see Splash Mountain won... Go Br'er Rabbit...
Son of Jor-El.. Kneel before Zod...

TRICIA JONES: I heard that you were going to propose to Brandi Svenning at some theme park. When are men going to learn that women want ROMANCE, not Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...

BRODIE: Hey, now, be fair. EVERYONE wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

It's definitely Splash Mt. for me. I loved the movie as a kid and I love the way they depict the story in the attraction. Since they won't re-release the DVD it's the only taste of Song of the South I'll ever get.
