Do you have to have park hopper tickets or be a resort guest to use the fast pass? My friends would have one day tickets. Thanks!

All you need to participate in the FastPass program is a valid park ticket - you do not need to be a guest of a Disney hotel nor hold a park hopper ticket . . . in my opinion, this is one of the most valuable benefits of a Disney Park Ticket!

I don't know if its just me, but it seemed like the lines went a lot quicker in the days when disney did not have the fast pas in place. Maybe its just me, or the time of year I was visiting, but does anyone else find this to be the case as well?

nope...the Fast Pass system is for all guests to enjoy. I think alot of confusion happens because lesser parks ... (throat clearing noise ) like to charge for their versions of Fast Pass
