    Default MK EMH advice

Hello! We will be arriving on Sunday June 15th and would love to take advantage of the EMH at MK. What is the best time to enter, before or after the parade? Is there a best route to avoid the crowds? And lastly how crowded are Sunday EMH? Thanks for any advice you can pass on!

Do you want to see the parade and/or fireworks? (I would highly recommend both!) If not then entering the park just before Wishes or Spectromagic is not a bad way to get a jump start on the lines as most ppl will be watching those and not riding. Right after the shows it will be hectic for a little while as a lot of ppl try to take advantage of those EMHs. Over the course of the night it will taper off as little ones get tired and need to return their resorts.

Anxious to read some of the answers. We will be arriving on the 20th, and expect to do EMH at MK on the 22nd. Did MK evening EMH's in June of 2005 and 2006. Our experieices made us wish they would bring back E-Ticket nights instead! In 2006, we had an ADR for Chef Mickey's about 6 PM, then headed to the MK......Made our way through the stores on the right side of Main Street, and got our wrist bands near Space Mountain. Crowds did not thin out after Wishes as it used to do. Did Buzz....about 30 minutes....after rest room break, managed to get on Space Mtn once....about 30 minutes..... On second try, with DGS's #2 & 3, we actually got into the cars after only about a 10 minute wait....then, we sat, waiting to launch, for about 30 minutes.....and then, had to exit the ride....it was down for the night....first two hours, two rides, and two very tired grandsons....headed back to CR....However, still intend to try again this year....both on Sunday, and on the 27th, our last night. Besides, DGS's are two years older!

IMO, it would be best to enter before the parade. The lines at the attractions will be shorter during, but you will not be able to get through to the rides until the parade finishes. Also, you need time to get your wrist band.

The EMH crowds can be less on sundays, but sometimes not, especially in the summer.

The tail end of EMH's are always better than the beginning since people start to tire out and head for the exits. I usually get more done in the last hour and a half of EMHs than in the first half. The longer you can stay the better. If you tire out early you might want to take a break during the day to recharge before attempting EMHs.
