Disney Bus question
What would you say is the avg time once you are seated on the bus from a Mod to get to the parks? Or from the parks back?
I went about 4 years ago and I honestly can not remember the time frame. I was thinking no more than a half hour, but it has been 4 years...

There are so many variables I don't know where to begin. It depends on which bus stop you are getting picked up at. Fo instance, when I stayed at POFQ most of the time we went to all of the POR bus stops to pick up those guests. If you are at the first stop of a trip or the last stop on a trip it would make a significant difference. Being the first stop to be picked-up was nice because we always got a seat on the bus, but the total travel time was around 1/2 hour. Where as the people who were picked up at the last bus stop there ride was more like 10-15 minutes or less. Hope this makes sense.

Yeah, I understand/remember the variables. I looked at a map too and was able to get a better feel for it as well. Looks like the only lengthy ride would be to MK? Seems like the other parks are not very far from FQ

The official line is to allow 90 minutes for your trip.
In a perfect World, it would take no more than 40 minutes: max 20 minutes wait time, and max 20 minutes travel time.
But, as RockinRollerMom said, if you are at the first stop of a multi-stop resort or a multi-resort route, add 10-15 minutes. Going to DAK, add as much as 7-8 minutes to stop at Blizzard Beach. If a wheelchair needs to be loaded, add 5 minutes load time and possibly several minutes unload time. If a bus is just full, it can take 5 minutes extra to get all the guests on and smooshed together.
While the wait time service standard is 20 minutes, 30 minutes is not uncommon. And with our new dispatch system, which is not yet working smoothly, unfortunately waits of 40 minutes or longer are sometimes occurring.
And then there's always the possibility of construction or heavy traffic delays.

I guess the only time I ever think about the wait time is the time I spend outside waiting for a bus...once I'm on the bus, I'm in a disney mode and never worry about how long it takes...and believe me, be on the bus New Years Eve around 1am and you know exactly how long that bus ride can be....but it didn't matter...I was in Disney...and it was NYE...

The times are subject to those getting on and off, traffic, etc....our travel times over the years have been very manageable....I mean to say that I don't mind the minimal amount of time on the bus as a short rest to the start of a great day, or a short rest coming from that great day....

I always tell the guests riding my bus to allow for at least 1.5 hours but staying on the safe side of things allow 2 hours for travel....remember you are on V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N and are here to have a good time and so is everyone else. RELAX....take your time....enjoy yourself....you are at WALT DISNEY WORLD
That's not flying...that's falling with style.

We stayed at SSR in October and even with all of the internal pickups, I don't remember a ride being longer than 15-20 minutes. But it could be the fact that I was so excited to be in Disney I didn't care.
I know there was one incident where it took us about 40-45 minutes, because of a wheelchair. And of all the times it was when we were trying to get to our dinner rezzies at GF. We were late, but they were accomodating.

The bus to Pop was always a quick one. At least it seemed like that. Sometimes they had 3 or 4 buses waiting at the end of the night from the MK!

Mk always seems far from all the Mods I've been at. But I'd say that the ride from PO to all parks was much longer than from CBR or CSR.
