Mickey Avenue closed, can we still walk to Backlot?

I noticed that the timeframe when my family will be in WDW, The Studios will have the Mickey Avenue closed. What does that mean? Will the entire Mickey Avenue be closed? Will nothing be open/displayed but we'll still be able to walk from The Great Movie Ride to the Backlot tour? This will really affect traffic patterns if the entire street is closed.

You must walk around toward Star Tours to the stunt stage, you can go as far as the restrooms and sit down area around there, but the rest of Mickey Ave is closed.

Just because they say it will be closed doesn't make it so. Last year, during our SWW trip, Mickey Ave was supposedly closed, due to Toy Story Mania construction. But when we got there, i was surprised to find a corridor left open for traffic. So be prepared for anything.
