    I am new to the site but have long history with Walt Disney World. My dad worked in construction and was a part of the construction of WDW and Epcot. I have pictures while it was being built, the lake is an employee parking lot and no paved roads, no water in 20,000 leagues, etc... I was 7 yrs old when we were allowed in before the parks were open to the public and have been there more than 100 times in my life. This is a very cool site.

    That is awesome to have history like that. My grandpa was also part of the building of WDW. He worked there from the start. He helped build the track on Spaceship Earth and he also worked on the buses and trams that take you around the world. It was always cool hearing his stories.
