Default Taxi from AKL to Dolphin

I have some very inexperienced questions regarding taking a taxi.
    1) Approx. Cost from AKL to Dolphin?
    2) How long of a ride is it?
    3) How much to tip?
    Thanks.

why do you need to take a taxi from AKL to Dolphing? If you don't mind me asking. You can take the bus from AKL to MGM then walk or ride water taxi to Dolphin for free. Unless there is a reason that you must take a taxi this is the way I would go. A few years ago we took the water taxi from MGM to the Boardwalk. It stops at the Swan and Dolphin. It was a lovely ride. It didn't take long at all.
I hope that this helps you decide.

We are meeting friends at the Dolphin for dinner. I would say that I want to take a taxi because heals and a dress don't work when taking a bus but the truth is I think a taxi would take less time to get from one place to another. That means a bit more time in the parks before going back to change. So any advice for this first time taxi taker? TIA.

I can't give you a cost as my husband handled paying the fares on our last trip. We used cabs a couple of times and it was very easy to do.

We transferred from Pop Century to Animal Kingdom Lodge via taxi and took a cab home one evening after dinner at California Grill. Just tell Bell Services you want a cab and they will summon one for you. On both occasions, the cab was there within a minute as cabs were already available and waiting in the parking lots.

About 15-min and $15, excluding tip.
