Default UPDATED 10/9 -Where and When to Meet for Saturday's IllumiNations Meet

    UPDATE:

Please note that the time line for the meet and greet with Mickey and the start of the Illumiations Meet has been moved up as of today 10/8/07 to allow you more time to get to know everyone - and to faciliate a smooth transition in our walk over to France from Norway.

Here's the who, what, when, where and why ("Why? Because we like you") of the evening's activities:

6:45 - 7:15 pm — Meet outside the Norway Pavillion where event wristbands will be distributed; we'll be escorted up to the Norway Loft

7:15 - 7:45 pm — Photo op and Meet & Greet with the Big Cheese himself

7:45 - 8:00 pm — We're "escorted" over to Eau de France (the lower level terrace) for the Dessert Party. (Latecomers will be able to pick up wristbands at the entrance to the terrace once we arrive.)

8:00 pm — Let the party begin

9:00 pm — IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth begins

9:30 pm — The dessert party concludes and our festivities move over to JellyRolls

Thanks again to all the sponsors who have come forward to make this event even more special for us.

For people not continuing to Jellyrolls, a group of people are probably heading to Magic Kingdom after the party. I know Bethany is coming, and everybody else is welcome.

I'm heading to the MK afterward. We walk fast, so if you see three people heading out quickly... that might be us!

We'll hang around to talk to people, but I'm excited that we'll have time to do that at the Mickey M&G, since, I'm sure, we'll be in line!

Is there anyway to confirm reservations or anything for the party? I mean, I know I paid so I'm reasonably certain everything is squared away, I'm just a little neurotic and like to know for sure.

You received a receipt from PayPal after buying your ticket. If you're concerned, print the page and bring it to the party.

Don't worry, though. I'm sure you're on the list.

Well, it looks like Greg and I will miss Starship, but I'm okay with that if it means having more time with Mickey and getting to know the awesome INTERCOTers!

Where exactly are we meeting in Norway? I mean, there's a lot to it. I guess I will just look for a bunch of people who are standing around with Intercot shirts!

That sounds like roughly the right thing. I can't imagine we'll be hard to spot.

That's a good start. Also at most events we try to have some sort of identifier like name tags. More importantly, we'll no doubt be the largest group in Norway. Based on past experience, at meets that were smaller than this one, we were pretty easy to spot. Just look for the throng of goofballs. In this case, by the end there will be over 100 goofballs in one place.
