Beach Club Villa resort

We are thinking of trading in for May 08' and wondering about the Beach club villas. We are wondering about the transportation, the location of the rooms compared to storm along bay and anything else anyone can think of. Can the guests of the villas use storm along bay? We just did the WLV and thought everything was very centrally located and a very short walk to the pool and transportation and the transportation was great. Wondering if we should try for there again or somewhere new and the BCV came to mind.

We stayed at BCV in February 2006; it was our first stay at the BC, but we had previously stayed at the Yacht Club, so we were familiar with the area. The BCVs are very nice and we found all the transportation and amenities to be located within a reasonable and convenient distance. The walk to the bus was the farthest, but you can easily walk thru the lobby as a short cut. You do have access to Stormalong Bay. The WL is our favorite resort and we typically stayed at the WLV, but decided to try something different, we were not disappointed by the BCVs, and the location offers a new variety of shops and dining within a short walk or boat ride, not to mention easy access to Epcot and MGM. We do plan to return to the WL on our next visit, but we would definitely stay at the BCVs again for the location and a change in ambiance.

Transportation: Walk to EPCOT, boat (or longer walk) to MGM, buses to MK & AK. Buses are conveniently located to villas - when you get outside, just walk to the main driveway in front of the BC and down to the bus stop.

Villa guests have full use of SAB.

Great resort. Fantastic location.
Hope you're lucky enough to be able to snag a room here as the villas are NOT easy to get at the BC!
