LSU's Mike the Tiger dies...

Sad news today, LSU's beloved mascot, Mike the Tiger died last night. I believe he was 17 and had recently been retired from roaring at games due to his age. I hope Mike will enjoy the games from up there in the skies

Oh, this is so sad. Most people do not know the connection LSU fans had with Mike. I do not remember ever going to Baton Rouge for a game or concert without going by his cage to see him.
RIP Mike....

What is really sad is today was graduation and so many families meet at Mike's cage. I am sure he will be missed. My dd tells me he has been sick for a while. She works at the vet school, I'm sure the exotics handle him and not equine or small animal He was such a beautiful animal.
