End of Term for each DVC resort

New to all of this, just wondering what is the life term for each resort? There are a lot of reasons I like BCV, but do I want to do AKL just for the longer years? Just wondering how many years will I have for each resort and if that is something I should be concerned about. Each time I look at a new thread I have more questions to ask.

All resorts except SSR and AKV end in 2042. SSR and AKV I believe both end in 2054. We looked at the BCVs when they were being built but ended up buying a year later at SSR. The longer term was a big draw to us. No one knows what is going to happen when the first resorts terms end though.

By the time 2054 rolls around I'll be like 84.

If I can still manage to go to Disney World by then I'll be happy to go back to paying for my rooms.

Maybe by then, my grandkids will buy a new and improved futuristic DVC, relish in the thought that we've taken them for so many years, feel generous and return the favor by taking us with them. Hey, it's a thought!

I'll be 78 and DH will be 82, but we bought for our kids and thier kids to go as well. When my contract at SSR ends my boys will be 57 and 55. They may even be grandparents themselves by then. I don't expect to be going to WDW then but who knows?
