DL and Pool Hopping

Last year we stayed at the GF and had no desire to "hop" pools at each resort.

This year we're staying at the DLHotel - so the question begs, can we pool hop at the GC? Not that the pool is better, it's just closer to the park (California Adventure).

When there was construction going on at the PPH pool I know pool hopping was allowed to accommodate those hotel guests, but I am fairly certain that you must now have a room key from the specific hotel to enter the pool area. I would advise contacting a DLR hotel reservationist ((714) 956-6425) or your travel agent for a firm answer to this question.

The DLH and GCH have gated pool areas that require a resort specific key to enter. There is no pool hopping allowed.
