    Default My grandmother passed away last night

    Hi folks, I'm quite sad today. My mom called me last night at 9:45 to tell me that my grandmother was found in her apartment, not breathing. She passed away some time between 4pm and 9pm yesterday.

    My mom had been trying to call her, and she wasn't answering the phone, so she called the security guard who called the police and the paramedics. My mom usually called my grandmother at 4pm and 9pm to check up on her, and she did speak with her at 4pm. Little did she know that would be the last time she'd ever speak with her mom.

    My DS4 and I last spoke with her on Sunday.

    I haven't told my little boy yet. He's still reeling from having lost his doggie back in December. I'm not sure how I'm going to get through telling him yet more sad news.

    I am so sorry for your loss of your grandmom.I still have one grandparent left my Nan and when that time comes for her to leave i will be crazy with pain since we are so close and talk a couple of times a week and see her.

    I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother. It is a hard thing to deal with. DH's grandmother died a couple of weeks ago.

    I feel your pain. My grandmother is very ill right now. It is not easy to lose someone you love and it is even harder to tell little ones about it. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.
