    Default Dogs Question

For those of you who travel in RV's with dogs. Have you ever stayed in FW and did it work out for your 4 legged friends?

We only stay at FW since buying our travel trailer. Our dog has made every trip. Not a problem at all.

It works out just fine for our dogs. Especially since we typically make a mid-day return for lunch.

Sometimes I feel like we would be in trouble if we went without them, and they found out.

Don't tell 'em we're going in September.

My brother and his family have gone with their dog. No issue at all. The only real restriction is that it must be an AC trailer/camper with the AC on.

We recently have been using the pet hotel across from PO. It is a very nice facility and our shepherd loves going there. Of course, this is just for day trips. He stays with family when we go for a week at a time.
Your attention please, the Walt Disney World Railroad is now boarding for a trip around the Magic Kingdom

Ever since they put in the dog park, it makes it great. We come out for lunch, take our dog to the dog park, and he plays and does his business. It works well.

When I am able to do this I will defiantly put the boys (dogs) in the doggie day care. They are on the large side and believe or not a bit timid, though they do love the dog park. So leaving them alone in the RV isn't an option. Its nice to know they would be well taken care of and also have patio for their business between walks.

Great question! I had been wondering the same thing. I will be retiring in about 3 years and we plan to buy a camper trailer and travel with our Bichon/Shih Tzu mix and Maltipoo. When we were at Disneyworld in 2010 for an 11 day stay we made a point of going to Fort Wilderness and rode the various bus routes there to get a really good feel of the resort. We absolutely loved what we saw.
