"Disney After Hours"? I will submit that I am an unabashed "free market capitalist".......However, this latest money grab by Disney is absolutely shameful...it is simply beyond the pale! The WDW...

To the extent that the additional security makes guests "feel" safer, it is a good thing. However, there is no amount of security known that can be 100% effective. I think it may be best to put...

What the heck.....they did that a long time ago! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Tokyo dining for the real McCoy......California Grill is good but it's more of an Americanized, California "fusion" type of thing.
Enjoy life to the MAX!

I seem to be the only "morning person" in my family. While at the Wilderness, I love to get up at the crack of dawn, grab a cup of coffee and stroll the grounds. The peaceful solitude is amazing,...

You know....as good as these things may be....I just can't see myself walking around in public chewing on one of these things. Perhaps I'm just too self conscious......

I'm with the "Cinderelly" camp on this.....fix the darn thing! Better yet, why not expand the attraction and include the Yeti in another, more "serviceable" place. Time for the Imaginaeers to start...

[QUOTE=PopPhan;2453113]First off, what is Xmas?????? There is no such thing. The holiday is CHRISTmas. Sorry, but this is something that ticks me off more and more each time I see it.
I'm with...

We prefer first 2 weeks in December! Relatively low crowds and almost always great weather! We started going in '94 when the kids were 5 and 3 and have visited many times since (during the same time...

There are many good ones......however, the best is Expedition Everest! Absolutely enthralling and never to be soon forgotten....a great lead up to the adventure yet to come....what a story line!

After a long day, we like to pick up a bottle of wine at the mercantile (they will cork it for you) and relax in the great room beneath the beautiful Christmas tree. It's a great experience,...

I'm not sure what "Holiday Music" is, but at the risk of offending a miniscule minority, I refer to it as "Christmas music". Merry Christmas everyone!

I've got to go with the Jungle Cruise......it is so lame that even the nostalgia factor can't salvage it.

I'm so sorry for those who will miss it. We all miss certain aspects regarding changes that Disney is compelled to make. However, IMO, the term "70's cheesy" is right on the money. Who knows? ...

[QUOTE=minnie04;2396193]I also miss the time when characters used to walk around the park and you could get pictures with them. ALL the characters. And I guess to sum it all up I miss the “MAGIC”...

Fish & chips in the UK is pretty tasty. My favorite would have to be Katsura Grill in Japan. Take your lunch outside and grab a table in the garden area....really nice.

A great point (with which I concur). An excellent Junmai Dai Ginjo would have been great, but not at lunch....it would have slowed me down...I would recommend the sake flight at Tokyo Dining for...

The bottled water that we subsequently ordered was fine. I'm familiar with Florida tap water and would agree that it is marginal at best. However, the "tap water" they initially served was truly,...

Didn't really complain about it (just ordered some bottled water), however, I did mention it to our waiter. He said that "all the water in the AK usually tasted like that". I sure didn't notice it...

This past December my family and I had an opportunity to visit the Yak and Yeti restaurant, at the Animal Kingdom (for lunch).
The atmosphere was intriguing, and the service and food was pretty good...

During our many stays at the WL, I have never experienced any major issues with the bus transportation. However, it may be a function of the time of year we visit, which has always been early to mid...

Sorry, haven't heard anything about that. Hopefully you'll be good to go. Hope you have a great time. Give concierge a ring, I'm sure they will be happy to advise.

Well said.....these are excellent talking points that I agree with wholeheartedly! We enjoyed our visit this December, but I doubt that my family will be going back for quite some time. The problem...

It is interesting to note that that during our stay (12/11-12/16), the concierge told me that the Lodge was operating at full capacity. It never seemed crowded to me, however (nor as loud as I...
