The Empire has struck back. Who could have imagined things would get this bad?
-
Recovered and back to work for a couple short days before headed into 2022. Hopefully 2022 is like the end to a film trilogy a la Star Wars. 2020 closed with some hope and a vaccine in hand (A New...

Just 11 days until this thread turns 7, but it does seem to be slowing down in it's "old age"

I'd call it crisp in the northeast. Warm days, cool nights. Although I'm with you, I'll take the heat over the cold any day!
-
Congrats to them...and you! Maybe you should go the week after they go so you don't "crowd" them too much. I guess that is unless you and your son are really close and the new DIL agrees? I'm sure...

Yes...first day of senior year for our youngest is today (8/23/21)! Maybe when we are empty nesters we'll have more time to visit Disney, but I doubt we'll have more funds with two in college! ...

Is this thread still a race or challenge not to be the thread killer? Or is it more a place to catch up on essentially anything non-Disney or maybe just our co-inhabitants? If you could rename this...

Ha! I don't know many people that "just lay in the sand." Usually we sit in chairs, relax, catch up with friends, enjoy a beverage or two and maybe take a swim or surf or paddle. I'm sure it's not...

Pensacola, eh? I hope you had a great time. I saw video of an F-18 buzzing the beach last week...super awesome!

Awful quiet here! Anyone go see Cruella, Black Widow or going to see Jungle Cruise in the theater? I'm off to my first "in theater" experience in at least 20 months tonight to go see Black Widow. ...

Happy Anniversary! Two decades (plus) is a lot of dedication!

May warmed up nicely here. Y'all get nice spring flowers out in AZ?
-
I'm sure spring is here now for sure!

They are calling for a warmer than average March. We are starting to see the affects of it in the mid-Atlantic now. Was the groundhog wrong?

Princess Leia was a bit of a smart a$$ back in the day

I believe their parking lots are being used to stage COVID vaccinations. Hopefully by summer (June)!
-
This is probably more relatable to Jon's "How ya doing?" thread. Although I'm with you on some things settling in 2021. I'm hopeful that we can return to some post-COVID normalcy by spring. I know...

Haha, you know what we are dealing with. Cough, cough...Tom Wolf (and his cronies). I'm sure it's not as bad out west where Cinderelley is.

2020 seemed like a pause. It wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. Certainly not what you might have expected for an interesting number and a new decade, but hey...were 1999 or 2000 really all that...

Ha! It looks like you got some "love" and kept the post alive today.
Happy 6th anniversary/birthday to this old thread!
-
...and happy veterans day! Thanks to all who served as well as their families who supported them. Your sacrifices make us the greatest country in the world!

I'd say it depended on when your house was built. Finding or buying new or relatively new construction with more that 25% of the exterior is probably rare. Most builders these days will do brick...

Happy 245th USMC and a big thank you to all those that served!
