Hi all - have any of you been waitlisted for the villas? We planned a last minute trip for the end of August, and apparently the studios and 1 bedrooms are full!

We will wait it out until the 31...

For us, we get great sandwiches at the quick service cafe in the Wilderness Lodge (yummy egg/bacon/cheese croissant sandwiches!)....

Same for us (well...except that I'm not tall!). The theming is gorgeous at the WL, and I prefer an interior room entrance. The proximity to MK and the access to fne dining is also a plus.

I think a limited number of tickets are sold to the party, and while Friday's event may sell more than Tuesday's, I think the park will still be much less crowded than your average day. Besides, it...

Especially compared to a bus ride of $4.50 for a day pass, or $50/day for a rental car! :)

The Florida Mall and the Mall at Millenia are both close to each other and close to WDW. I'm not sure if there are any other malls in the area...

I agree with the above posters - average food, good beer, and easy to walk up and get a table.

For breakfast, I'd recommend something not on your list - O'hana (unless you are already planning to eat there?).

For dinner, I highly recommend Boma, although I hear T-Rex is interesting!

I agree that Southwest generally has the best fares/best ticketing policies/best (lack of) baggage fees. If they work for your schedule, the only strategy is to buy your ticket as soon as the dates...

We tried several times to order a DVD this year, but one has never come. :( Maybe because we are in the DVC now?

I'm on the "villa" team. My husband and I are healthy eaters, and we found it quite difficult to eat well in the parks (partly because I'm not good with temptation, but also because of the sodium)....
