We stayed in Jambo house in December.I believe all the dvc rooms are on the 5th floor . We had a Savannah view which was great, but we didn't like jambo house because it didn't have that dvc feel....

I own at both resorts . There is definitely a lot more at akv. My 3 year old loved the animals we also had a savanna view which was amazing.
