1. What colors are in the flag for Camp Minnie Mickey? Extra points if you can describe the flag.
Badkitty, you've got me on this one :(
Welcome back Zawadi! I really enjoyed your trip reports.
Any takers on question #1 from my list? The flag is located on the right as you make the turn to cross the bridge towards FOTLK and the trails. There are two colors on the flag.
I have never seen this flag..it's driving me nuts! :)
Thanks for stepping in badkitty :)
There were two questions remaining:
3) I've previously asked how many dogs appear in the Pirates of the Carribbean ride but how many cats are there? I'm going to kill this question as it is too specific (unless anybody wants to have a go that is)
Which leaves...
5) A former Miss America appeared in which attraction?
You could be right. I know it is at least two.
I'm sure this isn't the answer your looking for for #5 but I thought it was an interesting tidbit. When I was little and HM first opened at Disneyland, I remember hearing that the Ghostess (AKA [unoffically] Little Leota) was played by Lee Meriwether (Miss California & Miss America, 1955).All the publications surrounding HM indicate that Leota Toombs is the actual face/voice of the Ghostess. From what I have read, Leota was also called Lee so that must be where the rumor started. I think the two women resemble each other quite a bit. Spooky. :ghost:
I think you might have stumped us Zawadi. How about another hint?
Okay, this one was hard Zawadi!
Here goes: Leanza Cornett, first Ariel in the Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Disney/MGM Studios in 1991 before winning Miss Winter Park and Miss Florida in 1992 and Miss America in 1993.
This is great trivia! How did you come across it?
A very full and correct answer badkitty
This piece of trivia came from one of the Disney Trivia books that I've purchased over the last 10 years or so.
Who's up for posting the next set of questions?
I know that I asked who's up for posting the next set of questions. However, last night I watched a documentary about Pixar and had to ask this trivia before I forgot it ;)
1. What is the code to summons the Child Contamination Unit?
2. What is the license plate number for the car owned by Andy's family in the first Toy Story?
3. Why is the answer to question 2 of significance to Pixar?
4. What was the name of Syndrome's first alter-ego?
5. During the announcement made by the captain of the Axiom, how many days had they been travelling?
6. Which actor has voiced a character in every Pixar animation?
:bump:
Any takers for this round of questions? :mickey:
Here goes #2 and #3:
A113 - it is the room # of an animation/graphic art classroom at CalArts (California Institute of the Arts) in Valencia, CA used by John Lasseter. (I have a friend who graduated with a music degree from there.) It is an "Easter Egg" added to animated films by alumni of CalArts and is present in every Pixar film. (For example, the lab rat's ear tag in Ratatouille, the directive never to return to Earth in Wall-E, the number on the freight train in Cars, etc.)
I can't help myself and have to provided extended trivia:
The school was originally founded/created by Walt Disney in the 60's by merging the Chouinard Art Institute (founded 1921) and the Los Angeles Conservatory of Music (founded 1883).
:congrats:
Your explanation has saved me a lot of typing. The only thing that I can add is that A113 appears in UP as the number of the court room that Carl Fredricksen goes to after he hits a worker to protect his mailbox.
Questions 1, 4 & 5 remaining...
1. What is the code to summons the Child Contamination Unit?
4. What was the name of Syndrome's first alter-ego?
5. During the announcement made by the captain of the Axiom, how many days had they been travelling?
