Official INTERCOT WDW Marathon Weekend Meet - Jan. 7-11, 2015

From Wednesday January 7th thru Sunday January 11th, the INTERCOT community will gather at Walt Disney World's Marathon Weekend. You don't have to be a runner to join in all the fun that comes along with an INTERCOT meet, but you can help us raise money for a good cause: THYCA, The Thyroid Cancer Survivors Association.

INTERCOT's plans for the weekend meet and apparel wise are just starting to come together and can be found here and discussion on the #runICOT forum here - but rest assured, you will be running and cheering with many of your friends from INTERCOT!

I can not even express how fantastic our last #runICOT meet was.

If you are going to be at Disney during Marathon weekend or have the opportunity to come, you definitely should. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Yay! Can't wait for another #runICOT meet. The 2014 one was so much fun!

Can't wait to order my shirts this year, I'm thrilled to have the chance to support both this amazing site (loved how noticeable they were this year!) and to support THYCA.

I will be at the meets and cheer squad.

Epcot resort. Most likely YC for me!

We'll be at Shades of Green again. Gotta budget somewhere since we'll be down in November for Wine & Dine. Actually, it works out fine, as long as one of my dear friends helps me park at Boardwalk on 10K day. hehe

Come on folks - join the fun and support a great cause. You'd be surprised how fun it is getting up at stupid dark thirty four days in a row!

Last year was a super blast. Can't wait for the shirt 4-pack! In for the 5K and 10K; cheering for the half and full. Woo hoo!

After a rough October, I'm officially going now! Wendy @magical journeys got me a good price at ASMusic and I booked airfare using miles.

Yay! I'm glad you were able to work things out.

My mom and I will be leaving the resort Friday through Sunday due to the marathon crowds but we will be at Riverside Jan 6-9 and French Quarter Jan 12-16.

I can't wait to go!! This month is gonna fly by with the holidays smack dab in the middle. Carolyn (aka. Buttercup) and I will be at Old Key West. I believe we are arriving just after lunch on Wednesday, January 7th and we fly home on Monday, January 12th. See you soon!! :mickey:

Can't wait!! I'm arriving Wednesday morning after a red-eye flight from CA. My flight home is early Sunday afternoon.

So, I just found out my husband and I are in different corrals for the 10k. We wanted to run together. Is there any way around this? He is in A and I am in C. Can he move down to my corral?

My flight lands at 9:30AM on Wednesday. I think I'm waiting for Gary at MCO and then we're both heading over to Pop where we're shacking up together until Sunday night.

My son-in-law and his friend will be running, so I will probably be there to cheer. I haven't been to a meet in ages and would love to meet old and new friends.

My plan is to head over Wednesday after I drop the kids at school. I figure I have about a 50% chance of that happening but I will definitely be there sometime Wed. :) I'm staying at POR by myself through Friday then my family will be joining me Friday night through Sunday.

Natalie he can move down to you. You cannot move up to him.

I'm embarrassed to ask this, but since I haven't been around Intercot much I was wondering where Gary's column is in Epcot? I want to try to come over on Saturday :blush:

Column resides in the UK pavilion. :) He also has his own Facebook page. :secret:

All you have to do is go to the only intersection in the UK pavilion and look for people sitting on my steps dripping ketchup on me. Seriously, people, malt vinegar for fish and chips. Where do you think you are? Some sort of fantasy land?

I am going to try and make the Thursday and column meet. I will be staying at Beach Club Villas on Saturday, so I can cheer my son-in-law on. I'm very excited to meet some of you for the first time and too see some I haven't seen in quite a while!
