AKL going cashless?

Saw this topic referred to in another post. I was not aware that this was happening. I am currently booked for AKL-Kidani in May. I prefer cash to credit and saw a suggestion in this other post to pre-pay for charging privileges. Just looking for clarification on this. Can I prepay $500 for example at the front desk and then have charging privileges up to that amount on my Magic Band?

As far as your question is concerned, I would think that that is exactly what they would like you to do.

I believe the pilot is for Jambo House only, not Kidani. Unless that has changed since I first read about it.

Thanks for the link. Very helpful and I had not seen that. This works just fine for me as it's what I've always done anyway, Initially on my "Key to the World" card and now on Magic Bands.

Just wanted to add, you can now see your charges/balance in the MDE app so you would know when you needed to refill.
