Crystal Palace Breakfast in Dec?

We've never been to Crystal Palace and have heard that it's one of the better character meals, although extremely busy/noisy. We'll be at WDW the first two weeks in Dec and we're considering an early (first seating) breakfast on a day that MK does not have EMH if hopes of walking main street before the rope drop in hopes of getting some great pictures. Has anyone already done this? What were the good and bad points, and would you do it again?

Crystal breakfast is a must do every trip:thumbsup: I love to walk down Main street and be almost alone. The food is typical buffet, the characters move fast! In Dec you will see all the decorations:candy: Have fun!
