Huntington beach is not too far. It's a good, classic California beach city. It's about 30 min from DLR. Nowhere near LA. Universal is the one that requires battling LA traffic.
thanks. idk if we will have time but she mentioned the beach. but if we are only there 3 nights or so it might be tight
When we visited Disneyland, we went to Huntington Beach. It was so much fun! Easy parking, great food locations, and fun waves. We wanted the kids to see the Pacific and it is such a fun memory.
and no snow like we have here in PA.. idk now if we will have a chance to since its looking like only 2 or 3 nights in Disneyland
If it's traffic you're worried about I'd skip Universal, it's traffic all the way. 3 days isn't that long to have in Disneyland Resort and you may want to stay in the area. We always go to Huntington or Newport Beach when time permits.
When will your visit be?
leaving for Las Vegas and gonna fly to LA probably on Sat APril 16. just booked Best Western Plus Park Vue for one night. either have to fly back to Philly on Monday late or Tuesday. so debating whether to stay all the nights by DL (ive been checking diff online sites for prices, poss even renting DVC for 2 nights) or stay Monday night by Universal. prob wont get a rental car due to LA traffic. Universal can be done in a day I figure, as i did it before in a day.
Um, are you aware that Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be grand opening on April 7? Universal is going to be packed for at least a month.
i guess spend the time at Disneyland. esp since we will b arriving Sat afternoon and leaving Monday night or Tuesda
I've been to CA twice, just to go to Disneyland. Both times I've driven over to the beach, once to Huntington and once to Newport, just to see the sun set on the West Coast. I highly recommend it if you can fit it in to your schedule. The drive is relatively short. :)
yes it will just be a few nights. arriving sat afternoon and leaving tuesday. wo a car most likely
