Walt Disney World Adds Florida Resident Theme Park Select Pass

The Walt Disney World resort has announced a new Annual Pass option for Florida Residents:

For an additional $89 you can add-on July 9 - Aug 9 but it is only good for MK, EP, and AKL. This add-on is available for Silver and Weekday Select passes too. Complete terms can be found on the WDW Passholder site.

I think my head is going to explode.

Additionally, on the one hand, I can add an entire month for $89. At the other extreme, I can get a one-night party ticket for about the same price.

More confusing passes for people to unscramble and figure out what the best deal is. :confused:
Can anyone confirm, is this available to ANYONE? Or only Florida residents, etc.?
Right now, I'm only eligible for the Platinum pass.

Yes, these are only for Florida residents.

IMO it's only going to get more confusing with APs in general as far as parks & blackout days as the opening of SWLand nears.
