I may be flying shortly. Can you bring a frozen blue ice pack through TSA?
Officially, the answer is yes, according to the TSA site. But, if they aren't 100% frozen, a tough TSA agent may declare it a liquid and not let it through.
I have found, no is the answer. Especially if authorities might find you suspicious for whatever reason. I'm brown w/ a beard, I'm lucky I'm able to keep my boxers.
Partially soft, the answer is no... So, better be rock hard when you go through. Some airports I've seen frozen ones for sale. You might call some of the stores in the airport (if you are flying out of a major airport). Else, you might have to buy an RTIC or Hydroflask bottle/container, and store whatever it is in there, and put ice in on the other side of security. If that will fit your meds or what not.
It turns out I'm not going to travel after all. Bummer, I was kind of wishing I was going to.
Bummer. Sorry to hear. Well, hope a new opportunity arises.
