Couldn't do that, you'd use up your cash :) hahhahaha
I voted for “Frankie’s Frolicking Film Fest”
Why be coy? Disney's Star Wars Land and some other stuff.
I don't think it is too difficult to pronounce, though not sure how I would feel about it as a name. Maybe not the most catchy but then again I remember most were critical of Disney Hollywood Studios when that came about!
Personally I would like a name that includes "studios" as it is a tribute to the park's origins, but am aware Disney are possibly looking to move away from that with the ongoing transformation of the park. Never been to DCA but I always think of it as the California equivalent of DHS so maybe DHA would be a logical move if the aim was uniformity.
To be honest I think no matter what the sign says, to my parents it will always be called "MGM" or "The one with Tower of Terror!" :mickey:
A quote from an article on Disney Parks Blog today:
So, it looks like the name remains the same...for now, at least.Quote:
In response to questions we have been receiving, we also want to let fans know that the Disney’s Hollywood Studios name will remain the same for the foreseeable future since we are immersing our guests in a place where imagined worlds of Hollywood unfold around them from movies and music, to television and theater.
Allow me to interpret Disney Corporate speak...
Quote:
We floated an idea that we thought was a home run, but feedback has been poor. We have promoted the individual responsible for this debacle, and promise that the name we finally settle on will be so bad that the first idea will look brilliant, after which the original author of the first idea will get yet another promotion!
After reading this it just made realize that for a number of years now our friends and family have just been referring to "whatever-they're-calling-it-now" as the studios.
