We have done it a couple times and it is has been Minnie and Goofey each time. You are given a voucher and then just go to the poto center and pic it out.:mickey:
We usually do this each trip. We've had photos taken with Minnie and Goofy,Mickey, Pluto, and Goofy, and Mickey and Pluto. You go into the Innoventions Building and it's in a corner back by the Segways. Usually, it's afternoon when it's open. Check the times and be early. Last time we were one of the first 10 or so groups there, and we were in line for about 30 minutes before we got in.Be sure you have your Disney Visa with you. They usually want to see it. The photographer takes several poses and gives you a voucher to be taken to the photo shop by Spaceship Earth. When you get there, they show the photos online, let you pick which one you want, have the year with different Disney symbols, and "autographs" put on them. They print them then and give it to you on the spot! Really quite slick and it's the one time I can get a photo of myself and DH together on our vacation. The added fact that it is free is even better!
They will also add all of the pictures to your photo pass card too.
When we went my youngest was 4 and he was wanting to see Mickey so bad. A man from Disney was talking to people in line and we told him that we had been in Disney 2 days and had not seen MIckey yet. He told us he wasn't sure who was in there but it was possible. When our turn came he talked to the lady who lets you in, and then both went back by the characters and then came out and said ok go in, but he needs to go first ( 4yr old).
We we walked in a turned the corner there stood Mickey and the photo guy started snapping pictures real fast of the look on his face and him running with his arms out to Mickey. He gave him the biggest hug it was great. I have all the pictures now to remember that moment forever.:cloud9:
I have thought of doing this many times but we never get there early enough. Maybe we will try this time as I'd love a pic with mickey! Yep, I'm a big dork! Don't believe me? Ask my wife...

Do I need to book this?? Or just show uo there?
this is something you just show up for. they start either at 1 or 1:30 each afternoon and you just go get in line for it. it's a fun thing to do.
thanks!
It’s nice b/c you have an exclusive couple of minutes with the characters. In April 2008 we saw Mickey & Pluto (on our arrival day we went to EPCOT for the afternoon and just happened to stop in and waited maybe 10 minutes in line). In August we made a point to return b/c it was soo nice before but the line was horrible - I couldn't believe all the people waiting - we passed this time.
I didn't know about this! So you just go to this location, show your Disney Visa and you'll get the meet and greet and a photo free? Cool! :mickey:
It does sound really nice! And, you can't beat free. I printed out the info from the Disney Visa Rewards site and we're going to try to make it one day. :mickey:
We did this once- it was Mickey :mickey2: and Pluto. :pluto:
I am hoping to do this next time we go in Sept. My goal is to get pics with all of my favorite characters, maybe while wearing my All Blacks Rugby jersey, just for fun.

We did this our last trip...the pics are the best!
I did want to point out that there is nothing that says you can only do this one...time wise/character wise, once a day is plenty...but...we happened to be at Epcot twice during our trip so twice we did it. Saw different Characters both times...Once Mickey and Pluto, once Mickey, Goofy and Minnie...
Very well worth a samll wait!
