Using Uber/Lyft/Taxi/What's Most Efficient (staying at the B)

We have always stayed at the Dolphin/Swan becuase it the easiest/most convenient for us with my scooter. We waited to long to make our reservations and this time - not much left in our price bracket so we got a ressie at the B (Disney Springs area). I've stayed there before - before the reno). At any rate, I will have my mobility scooter. WE have not decided if we are flying or driving. If we decide to take Uber (instead of using the resort shuttle at the B), how does that work? It's been so long since we've stayed off property - I have no idea! Are you taken to TTC? Can we request to be taken to a resort and then take a boat or monorail? I have a handicapped (perm) parking tag and was told we can valet/park for free at resorts? Need updates, please! Thanks....
