Just read a story...
I just read a story about a family in LA filing a lawsuit against Disney for bedbugs. Do you look at the beds when you check into the resort? What do you look for? I would have thought for the price we pay, they would keep constant track of that sort of thing.

I check the beds just in case, you never know what might be missed.

I always check the beds. Bedbugs are about the size of an apple seed. I pull the mattress up and look along the edges at every hotel I go to.
-
Regardless of where I stay - on or off Disney property - I always check the room for signs of bedbugs before we settle in for our stay.

It's an unfortunate (but not very likely) potentiality in many popular hotel areas.

We check as well too. I figure it isn't 100% that we'd notice them, but more likely when we check than if we didn't check at all.

When i was a kid, we checked into a disney hotel, and as i pulled back the cover a lizard ran out from behind my pillow. Now I always check the bed for anyrhing no matter where i go.

Never looked once, ever, in any hotel. I just don't worry about such things.

We always check at every hotel. It just takes a couple of minutes. And, it totally paid off once!

I don’t normally check because I figure between the Amtrak, septa and plane and bus ride it is always a possibility with transportation and room. But when I get home nothing comes into the house until it is either thrown into the washing machine or cleaned in garage. I also don’t sit on any furniture until I change clothes and take a shower.

I always rest the luggage on the AC unit, table, chair or luggage rack, reduce my chances. I keep lawn bags in my luggage to wrap them up to reduce the opportunity.
