Finally decided to see what everyone loves about Disney Marathons... no, this overweight 61 year old Grandmother is NOT doing the marathon, but I am starting with the 5K.
Is anyone else signed up for this weekend. I'd love to cheer you on if you are doing to "big" race :)

I am signed up for the 10K and possibly doing the 5K.
So the wife and I are doing the 10K and i'm prob gonna go out and cheer the 5K and 1/2. Have to look at the course maps and decide where to cheer from but if anyone wants to join, I will be there.
I'd love to come out and cheer!

Maps are out and it looks like gonna be difficult. I think at finish line for 5k, im running 10 so wont be cheering, and possibly by Big River Grille on Boardwalk

5K. It's as adventurous as I've gotten with these runs. ;-).
Finished!!!! Excited for wine and dine 5k now....
Done! 1 hour 15 minutes. Several rest stops, no character pictures. The lines were long.
I don't know how many waves there were for each corral, but I would guess 6? They didn't exactly announce when a new corral began. I believe I was in the 3rd wave of corral F. My official start time (according to the app I was using to track my stats) was 6:36a. It was a great event. I love that I chose this theme for my first runDisney at WDW. :walk:
Congratulations to all who ran ( walked in my case) in this weekend's events. Still stiff and ache, but looking forward to my next 5K.
