How far in advance do they announce the dates for Run Disney events? How about registration?
In general, all the events are on the same weekend every year (ie: WDW Marathon - 2nd weekend of January, DL 1/2 Marathon - Labor Day weekend, etc.)
Registration is iffy. I can remember when the next year's WDW Marathon registration opened the Monday after the current year's event. The registration for the 2013 DL Half is opening tomorrow (to the general public) and on April 9 for the 2014 WDW Marathon weekend, so it looks like it's generally about 8-9 months prior to the event.
Right now they have posted all events through October. Looks like the only dates not posted are for F&W so your looking at 9 months out or so. Registration seems to be 7 months out. You can find the specifics here.
And on the description page of each event, you can sign up for an email reminder/notification when registration opens. :)
Please note, I wouldn't hesitate to register for Disneyland events. They fill up faster than WDW.

To run the WDW marathon is such a dream for my DH but the price tag is so hard to chew. :unsure:
