Party of 2 winter escape day 5 & 6
Day 5. Epcot. Early hour morning. Si DW and I walked onto Soarin and the Land before 8:45 a.m. stopped by Mouse Gear to check out the items. FP at 9:55 a.m. but as we walked over and saw no people only cast members we were met with the news that Test Reack was down. So we people watched and eventually walked through world showcase checking out the food vendors. Took a break for the afternoon to await 5 pm Cape May dinner. Good food, but something seemed missing. Went back to Epcot to catch the fireworks show. Decent show but not at level of Illuminations. A larger crowd now leaves through international gateway exit. Saw 2 guests who had left through international gateway exit somehow by mistake?? Don't know if they were allowed back in.
Day 6: morning 5k. With new ride at HS open there were people going into HS and skyliner was dropping folks off. Parking lot was starting to fill in and lyft/uber dropping folks off. We took a lyft over to Polynesian for breakfast at Kona Cafe. The pancake and french toast machine was broken according to our waitress. I had the Tonga Toast with sausages. I couldn't finish it! We took disney bus to Disney Springs to transfer to Saratoga springs for spa day/massages. A relaxing way to end our stay. Dinner at the Boat House in Disney Springs. I had red grouper, delicious. DW had shrimp and grits. Disney bus back to resort to just relax! Weather was great. 72 degrees, mostly sunny.
