I just saw this on Facebook and was coming here to post it!
I can't wait to use this...only thing is I've got to wait another 54 days. Hopefully by then all the 'bugs' will be worked out!
A little nerve-wracking. If it works, it will be great, but I'm waiting to hear the initial reports.
I asked this on another thread that brought this up, but this would probably be a better place to ask:
1) Are there set hours to do this?
2) Are they going to implement the 90 +10 policy the same way as phone in ADRs?
We get to book tomorrow, so if I can stay up 'til midnight and book my entire trip, I might be able to beat the rush on some of the restaurants we're looking at for the end of our 9 days.
I'm curious how the 90+10 is going to work. Also if it's going to matter if you booked through MJ. Will you be able to do the 90+10 if you booked through a TA or will you still have to call?
Can't wait to hear how others respond!

I called a few days ago and they said there was NOTHING the whole time we were there for breakfast, but i kept checking and up something came!!

It was simple I just kept searching different dates and times until i got one for the restaraunt i wanted. disney sent me a confirmation email to print out and POSTED a Confirmation number which I wrote down on my meal sheet i keep track of everything on. Working great for me!!
Hmmm...if this works without any glitches, I'll be glad to use it to make ADRs for our December trip! But, I'm definitely hoping to see some reviews from people who use it in the next couple of months before my date to make ADRs comes. If it's like Disney's other web sites and online offerings, chances are it will be slow and problematic! I'll keep my fingers crossed! :fingers:
Also, T-REX and Rainforest Cafe are both on this website and it DOES allow ressies for those as well.
This is good news. My ADR window is at the end of the month and I'd love to be able to do it online instead of waiting on the phone all morning. It's about time they got their system online. I hope it works well! :fingers:
Read else where that if you use a TA then you still have to call or you can have your TA do it. If you want to take advantage of the 90+10.

We have contacted Disney and are awaiting instructions for our clients.

I just made a ressie for Teppan Edo. It was way later than I was hoping for but I have phoned daily for the last week and was not able to get anything.
At least with it being online I can try multiple times per day to see if anything earlier comes up.
It shows that you can retrieve your ADR's by putting in the confirmation # and your phone #. Does this only work if you have made the ADR online? ?????
I put in my confirmation #'s and none of them show up. I get an unable to retrieve your reservation please check your confirmation #. So now I am calling because I'm freaked out since we leave in 2 weeks!!
You cannot look up your ADRs online if they were made by phone, which is probably why your's are not showing up. As of now, you can only pull up ADRs that were made online. This could always change in the future, of course. And it's always a good idea to call and double check your ADRs!
I was able to look up all my ADRs I booked by phone on May 11th. I entered the conformation # and the phone number which they are associated with.
When I first seen that the online system came online today, I called into Disney Dining because I was afraid to make adjustments. And lose what I already had and then the new ones not work either. The CM had no idea that the system was going live today. She was shocked. She actually put me on hold to confirm and she said it appeared that they were not told either. Anyways, she told me to book what I could online because her computer was running really slow and she thought it was crashing. And that we would adjust as we went. She had to change my Fantasmic! Package. As it will not let you book that yet. My computer was going a LOOOOOTTTTTT quicker then the CM system. I was able to book 4 online in the time it took her to adjust 1 on her system. Then she went in and checked to make sure they actually booked from online (they did!), then took my old con # and cancelled those. It was super duper easy! I was very impressed!
And it came at a perfect time since I was going to have to call in today anyways because as of last night we went from a party of 6 to 7.

NOT true, log on your profile then off to the right got to the retrieve your dining res and type in the ADR & phone # and tada!!!
ALso not true you need the ARD # & phone # you used to make the ADR and tada.....

I already found what I believe to be a glitch in the system...
I was offered a 7:30 AM ADR to the Flying Fish Cafe for breakfast. Now unless something has changed recently, I thought the FF was only open for dinner... :scratch:
Things are changing constantly. Just last week I know we weren't able to look up phone ADRs online, when I had a client ask me to check something for them. That's one of the joys of a new Disney system. You never know when they will change it.

another problem when you are trying to search adr with a child the lil box to enter age is no where to be found and wont let u search until you put age:confused:
What if your booking something that requires payment, but you want to use the dining plan. Tried to book HDDR with our ressie #, but its still asking for payment in full.

I called to book a dinner at 'Ohana last week for our September trip, but couldn't get anything and just tried again online and was able to get a 7:15pm for the day that I wanted! I actually think I prefer it to talking to someone online because you can see ALL the reservation options for a particular day.
I get to book on 7/12 and can't wait. This system sounds painless so far. Has anyone tried it 24/7? I have no problem staying up until midnight, but sometimes 7:00 AM comes early and I live in the same time zone.
I'm really excited to have this up and running and can't wait to try it! Our booking window opens 7/2, but I'm on vacation that week and wasn't looking forward to the phone bill from home if I got stuck on hold for a long time. Yes, I could use my cell phone, but unfortunately I'd have to stand on my back deck w/ one arm in the air and lean over the railing backwards on one foot to keep the signal. :blush:
With all the people saying they couldn't get a reservation then went online and got one makes me worry. What if the system is overbooking? Could this be a possiblity?
I wonder about what the above poster is saying too....there seems to be much more availability online than there is over the phone.
I too am worried about this- since we will be there during free dining. Time will tell.
I used the system last night for the first time and loved it. My only comment it was a little slow.
Just thought of a question for those who have used the on-line system...Is there a space to note if there is a special occasion in your party? We'll be celebrating birthday's in October and would like to note it on there. Thanks for any info!!:mickey:
Yes there is. At the bottom of the reservation it asks what will you be celebrating. There is a drop down menu listing birthday,anniversary, first trip etc., it also asks for the name of the person "celebrating".
I'm a little concerned about this new system because as of right now, the web site is not recognizing DVC reservation numbers. That means DVC members who try to make ADRs online will not be able to take advantage of the 90 + 10 rule. :( Have any other DVC members been able to put their reservation number in successfully? I'm hoping this is just a glitch that hasn't been straightened out yet. I hope they figure it out soon!! :confused:
